About Role:

We’re looking for a Software Engineer III who is not only experienced but also excited to build and scale next-gen cloud-based EDI platforms. The ideal candidate is analytical, technically skilled, and collaborative, with a solid understanding of Sterling B2Bi, AWS, and Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in modernizing Nike’s EDI platform and driving automation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors.
  • Manage and optimize Sterling B2Bi admin console and Control Center apps.
  • Automate tasks using Shell scripts, UNIX utilities, or scripting languages.
  • Handle source/target integrations including OpenText, Axway, Oracle, SQL Server.
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises and Sterling B2Bi migrations.
  • Provide on-call support and collaborate with offshore teams as needed.
  • Use tools like GitHub, ServiceNow, and JIRA effectively in day-to-day work.

Key Technical Skills:

Sterling B2Bi, Linux, Git (GitHub), Shell scripting, Python, REST/JSON APIs, AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS Oracle), RedHat, Jenkins, Puppet, Oracle, SQL Server, Apex reporting framework

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • 4–7 years of relevant experience in software engineering or IT.
  • Strong background in Sterling B2Bi and experience in EDI processes.
  • Prior work as a Sterling B2Bi Administrator/Engineer (Certification is a plus).
  • Excellent debugging and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse, and innovative team setting.
